As an integrative counsellor, I am able to draw on different therapeutic approaches to suit your needs. I mainly work from a person-centred perspective, which means that I believe in the individual’s ability to grow and develop in the way that is best for them.
My experience as a counsellor includes working for the NHS supporting clients with addiction issues and counselling clients aged 16 and above through a local charity organisation. In my private practice, I work with a wide range of people of all ages, helping them to think and feel differently and welcome positive change into their lives.
Through my experience of dealing with life's challenges and personal difficulties, I have been able to recognise and appreciate the value of counselling.
I have a diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and I am a certified online and telephone counsellor. As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I work in compliance with their values, principles and ethics.
I am committed to continuing my professional development (CPD) in order to enhance my own knowledge and to allow this to inform my work for the benefit of my clients.
